• Strengths-based. Recent research demonstrates that identifying and capitalizing on clients’ strengths, is much more effective than attempting to “fix” perceived “weaknesses”. Therefore, at Liberty Therapy, our clients' unique aspirations and strengths largely dictate their own, customized course of therapy.
  • Shorter-term (i.e., 12-15 sessions). Our aim is to provide the tools necessary for clients to ultimately thrive on their own. Each client will want and/or need a different number of sessions, but we find that most clients are able to reach their goals after 12-15 sessions.
  • Non-judgmental/Affirming. A primary value at Liberty Therapy is in celebrating the diversity of clients’ experiences, values, beliefs, and backgrounds. We’ve repeatedly seen that improvement is most significant when clients' own values drive their growth.
